Overview

Spellchain is a number-puzzle mobile game. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a player.

Data Collected by the App

Spellchain stores the following data locally on your device only, using Android DataStore:

• Completed levels and star ratings
• Best move counts per level
• Daily challenge results and streak
• Total spells cast and total wins
• Which tutorial overlays you have seen

None of this data is transmitted to any server. It never leaves your device. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Advertising — Google AdMob

Google AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads, including:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location
• App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks)
• Device model, OS version, language

This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. We do not have access to this data and do not receive any personally identifiable information from AdMob.

You can opt out of personalised ads at any time via your device settings:
Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation

Third-Party Services

Spellchain uses Google AdMob (Google LLC) as its sole third-party SDK that may transmit data. No other external services, analytics SDKs, or tracking libraries are included. See the Advertising section above for full details.

Children's Privacy

Spellchain is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). Because no personal data is collected by the app itself, Spellchain is compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.

Ads served by AdMob are configured as child-appropriate and use non-personalised ad serving where required by law.

Data Retention & Deletion

All locally stored game data is retained on your device until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all saved progress. There is no account system and no server-side backup.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy when new features are released. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
